Vast IT Services ("VASTiQ," "we," "us") grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use VASTiQ during the trial period stated at signup (the "Trial Period"), solely for your own internal evaluation of the service. No production use, resale, sublicensing, or use on behalf of a third party is permitted without our prior written consent.
Trial access is limited to the number of endpoints/servers stated at signup (currently up to 20) and expires automatically at the end of the Trial Period (currently 90 days) unless extended or converted to a paid subscription in writing. We may suspend or terminate trial access at any time, for any reason or no reason, without notice or liability, including if we reasonably believe the trial is being used for purposes other than good-faith evaluation.
VASTiQ is provided as a hosted service. You will not be given direct access, credentials, or console access to any underlying cloud infrastructure provisioned to support your trial. All infrastructure operated on your behalf remains under our exclusive administrative control.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE. NO SERVICE LEVEL COMMITMENT APPLIES DURING THE TRIAL PERIOD.
We will use commercially reasonable efforts to assist with onboarding, but owe no minimum response time, uptime commitment, or dedicated support obligation during the Trial Period.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL VASTiQ BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE TRIAL, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THE TRIAL WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
Telemetry, configuration, and other data you submit or generate through the trial ("Trial Data") is used solely to operate and evaluate the service for you. Trial Data and any infrastructure provisioned for your trial will be permanently deleted after a grace period following expiration or termination of the Trial Period, unless you convert to a paid subscription before that time. We recommend not submitting data you cannot afford to lose.
Any non-public features, performance information, or pricing shared with you during the trial is confidential and may not be disclosed to third parties without our written consent.
You will not use the trial to: (a) build a competing product; (b) benchmark or publicly disclose performance results without our written consent; (c) attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or access source code except as permitted by law; (d) submit unlawful content or use the service in violation of applicable law, including export control and sanctions laws; or (e) interfere with the security or normal operation of the service.
Either party may terminate trial access at any time. Upon expiration or termination, your right to use the service ends immediately, and any provisioned infrastructure and Trial Data are subject to Section 7.
No payment is due for trial use. Nothing in these Trial Terms obligates either party to enter into a paid subscription.

We may update these Trial Terms from time to time. Continued use of the trial after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
